Innovation

Long before this time, i've always thought that innovation is something that everyone can achieve, it's something that very common, and it should be something that people always do. i mean it's true that we always innovate every time if not, than we shouldn't be alive right now, we innovate in how to eat, how to farm and even how to knit, but most important is that we always innovate when some problem happen, we always innovate and finally find our way to solve that problem, it happen to you doesn't it?

then, when i ask to my lecturer what does the innovation itself mean, then in his point of view, it really does different, it change the way i think about innovation, he said "innovation is something that change the human being, if it's only happen in ideas world, whereas just like prototype thing, than it can't be called innovation, innovation should be applicable, it should be massive and visible to manufacture" than, if you said that something like the winner of innovation contest, or paper contest, it's actually not an innovation, yet!

in order to be called innovation then it should be acceptable, easy, and marketable, if it's not than it just some prototype that will always be a prototype, in order to be a real innovation, in my opinion there's a step behind that :

PROBLEM----------> ENVIRONMENT ANALYSIS-------->HISTORICAL ANALYSIS------>INFORMATION GATHERING--------->MARKET ANALYSIS---------->                                IDEA CRYSTALLIZATION------->PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT------------>MARKET ANNOUNCEMENT------->MARKET APPRECIATION-------->MASS PRODUCTION

In my opinion, the innovation not only should be looked in by the human way, nor the machine way, but only the market way, that's how it works.
